However, this confirmation does not represent acceptance of the offer by maxon motor.

maxon's acceptance comes in the form of an order confirmation via e-mail or letter, or alternatively through despatch of the goods. A purchase contract is created when the order confirmation is sent, but latest when the customer receives the goods.
